Our philosophy in this respect is one of long-term co-operation between partners, geared toward rolling optimisation of the procurement situation. This entails a fair sharing of services and risks between both contractual partners with a view to attaining our common objective: 100% customer satisfaction.
In pursuit of this philosophy, we integrate our suppliers into the development process at an early stage so that we can focus our joint efforts on optimising the services we provide our customers.
To qualify for long-term co-operation, suppliers should
- have a certified QM system based on ISO/TS16949:2002, DIN ISO 9001:2000, or equivalent,
- react flexibly and within schedule to defined demand,
- utilise JIT and KANBAN for inventory control and optimisation,
- offer technical support and consulting,
- operate state-of-the-art data-transfer IT,
- accept the terms of KLEiN contracts and guidelines for quality assurance,
- engage constantly in the cost-reduction process
